The view was nice, and I never heard the couple of student teams staying there. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was decent for being free, though it could've been a little better. There wasn't a bathroom fan, so we had to wait to use the mirrors.

I've stayed here several times while working at UPMC Hamot. It's very close to the hospital and the building is quiet, which makes it easy to rest after a shift. The lake and pier are really close, too. Highly recommend it.

The rooms have a microwave, dorm-sized fridge, USB chargers, and handy ledges for luggage and personal things. They're modern-looking, well laid out, and extremely clean. I especially liked the shower handle being moved to a new spot. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and new, with lots of business amenities, a fitness area, and free breakfast. The front desk staff were professional.

The rooftop restaurant, Oliver’s Rooftop, is very good, and Maria deserves credit for a good continental breakfast. Staff were friendly, and the hotel felt clean, quiet, and safe, with easy access to the bayfront and convention center. Parking costs an extra $14. There is construction around the Bayfront right now, so allow extra time if traveling when it's busy.

The pool was heated and really nice, and the workout room was in great shape. There are lots of restaurants downtown and by the water within walking distance, plus a great view of the water at the back and a beer garden. That garden gets very loud until 11 pm, with live bands on weekends, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to noise. Breakfast was average for a hotel. A wonderful stay, no complaints.
