We took four nights at Escalante Escapes to get a little break from campervan life, and I’m glad we did. Frank the owner welcomed us, and we had a nice time chatting about fly fishing and hearing about the place. The units were gorgeous, clean, thoughtfully designed, and felt really private. Pulling right up to our space was handy, and having a washer and dryer was great. I never usually leave reviews, but this stay made me want to. We’d absolutely come back.

Everything was peaceful, and we had all we needed for our couple of days there. The place was immaculate, and the nights were fun with deer wandering around. My nephew was thrilled to see 'smokey' the cat on the patio each morning. Loved every minute and would definitely stay again.

The setting was such a welcome break from city life, with gorgeous views and a well-kept property. The tiny home was beautifully built for two, and everything inside was spotless. We had all the kitchen tools and appliances we needed, all in good condition, so cooking was easy. Deer came right outside, and neighborhood cats visited daily. One sweet, friendly black cat even made himself at home in our living room. Escalante is small and remote, with only a handful of restaurants and shops, but the quality surprised us. Escalante Outfitters had some of the best pizza we’ve ever had, and Chihuahua Garcia Mexican Grill made unforgettable tacos. The warm, welcoming people added to the stay. We’d happily return, and it’s a must-stay if you’re traveling along Scenic Highway 12 in Southern Utah.

After a couple long days of hiking, the back deck and fire pit were just what we needed. We watched the sunset and enjoyed the views each night, and cooked a steak on the grill one evening. We stayed in the Wild Rose for our first anniversary stay-cation, after driving a few hours south from home. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom, shower, kitchen, and appliances were all great. It was an amazing tiny home and a perfect place to rest. Bring grill supplies if you’re staying a few days, and you can buy wood at the nearby RV park office/convenience store. We can’t recommend it enough, you won’t regret staying here.

We were on a multi-week trip around Utah and were so pleased to find these tiny homes. It felt much better than a hotel, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. TumbleWeed was clean, and the view was spectacular. I loved having coffee on the deck as the sun came up, and the quiet area meant we slept well every night. Our hosts responded to questions right away. Highly recommend these homes if you’re in Escalante. Such a beautiful place.
