Comfort Inn Escondido San Diego North County

We especially liked the little porches or decks outside the rooms, and the mini fridge and microwave in the room were handy. It was affordable, clean, and comfortable, with free parking and a varied breakfast included. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location also worked really well for getting everywhere we needed to go.

We were offered freshly popped popcorn and brewed coffee as soon as we arrived, along with tips about local restaurants and their opening hours. The staff greeted us right away, then told us about breakfast the next morning. There were several egg options, different waffle flavors, oatmeal, fresh coffee and juice, and fresh fruit. My son and I were in town to tour Cal State San Marcos, and the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. We’d definitely stay here again if he chooses to go to San Marcos.

The room was spotless, and I was really impressed with how clean it was. Breakfast was excellent, and the front desk staff were very courteous. My only tiny issue was figuring out the air-conditioning and heating unit. A small plastic sign on the end table would’ve helped. Otherwise, it was an outstanding stay, and I’ll stay in a Comfort Inn again.

We liked our stay and would recommend this Comfort Inn. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Even the parking lot and entrance were inviting, with a tropical, Hawaii-like feel.
