The phone and speaker kept beeping, but there was no way to unplug it or remove the batteries. I covered it with a pillow and moved to the other side of the bed. The market was there, but I didn't like that there was no mobile checkout or option to charge things to the room. Maybe that's not usually an issue the rest of the year, since it was Christmas Eve. The room had only been partly cleaned: crumbs on the coffee table, hair in the shower corner, and a couple of spots in the sink. I didn't complain because it was Christmas Eve and staffing was already really lean.

There was wildlife around, including coyotes on the hill behind, which was pretty pleasant. The rooms were spacious and updated, and the location was generally central to Escondido, with San Diego a short drive away. Free breakfast was a nice perk.

Devon has been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful every time we've crossed paths. We've had more than 15 room nights in just the last 60 days, and he's done a great job. I strongly recommend the Escondido Marriott Springhill Suites for personal or business trips. Signed, fat & bald.

After a long night, Kalona was cheerful, easy to talk to, and really helpful with check-in. She also suggested a few local taco spots that we'll be sure to try. If I remember right, she said the location was built in 2018. This will be my go-to spot when I'm in the area! :)

There was plenty of room for the three of us, and the beds were really comfortable. The lobby was a nice place to spend time, too, and the included breakfast was very good. Everything felt clean and comfortable.
