I’m living at Quality Hotel for a bit, and it’s been a solid, comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, with no bugs or odd smells, and the thick doors keep hallway noise out, which makes it easy to relax. They also have breakfast, a gym, and a shuttle service. It’s been quiet and reliable, and I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

I only booked one night, and I asked for a handicap room. What I got was a room of horror. It was dirty, including the bed, and most of the lamps had no shades. The closet door was off its track, the sink was clogged, the tub had a nasty stain, the shower curtain was stained, and the toilet seat was broken. I also had to ask for towels, a face cloth, an iron, and an ironing board. When I asked, I got an attitude. If I hadn’t been pressed for time to get to an event, I’d have requested another room or left altogether. I wish I could show the videos and pictures of what I went through. I’ll never book here again.

The rooms were okay, but I’d only stay here again if sleeping in my car were the alternative. I booked based on the reviews on parksleepfly, and I’m guessing those reviews are fake. The lot wasn’t plowed after snowstorms, so dragging luggage through was tricky. The whole place, including the rooms, smelled like marijuana, and it didn’t feel safe. People with their faces covered were always wandering around the lobby and parking lots, and we saw people who seemed strung out standing in the lobby. They gave us one towel regardless of how many people were staying in the room. Find somewhere better.

Nakia made my stay much better. She was friendly and professional, kept a positive attitude, and went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed. I really appreciated the care and attention she showed. Customer service like that makes a difference.

We left before the 11:00 AM checkout because we couldn’t wait to get out. We stayed Saturday, May 16 through Sunday, May 17, expecting a professional airport hotel, but the conditions were filthy, moldy, and badly neglected. The front desk receptionists were pleasant, but that couldn’t make up for the rest. The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke embedded in the dirty carpet. Since the windows didn’t open, I had to use my own air freshener to make it bearable. There was black mold in the bathtub crevices, one bed’s mattress was sunken, and there were no trash cans in the room, so we had to take garbage to the elevator bank. The phone was dusty, disconnected, and had no cords, which felt like a serious safety issue in an emergency. The lobby felt more like a sketchy public bus station than a hotel. People loitered in the common areas for hours, including a mother with three small children surrounded by bags of clothes and food. It didn’t feel set up for business or airport travelers. The elevator stopped working Sunday morning. We were on the 3rd floor and could use the stairs, but it showed how poorly maintained the property was. We needed to iron clothes for an event. The ironing board in the closet was in the worst condition I’ve ever seen. I took a picture and asked reception for a replacement, but it never came. The pool area was filthy and covered with leaves, so it was unusable. This place needs to be shut down, gutted, and rebuilt. No paying guest should have to deal with mold, filth, broken amenities, and safety violations. It’s a disgrace to the brand.
