The rooms are a little dated, but the people running the lodge were attentive and friendly. My friend and I needed a last-minute reservation on a busy holiday weekend, and it was just what we wanted. I'd love it if the hot tub didn't require reservations, and the St. Bernard was a bit of a surprise since not all of us are dog people. Still, I'd gladly stay again for a quick trip up the mountain.

Castle Mountain is a peaceful place to unwind, and the cabins are comfortable and always clean. We enjoy the included firewood, too. We've stayed here before and were glad to come back. Service is always friendly, whether we're booking by phone or checking in or out.

We come to Castle Mountain for my husband's birthday, and the stays have been magical every time over the past several years. There are lots of thoughtful extras, from smores kits and spa packages to flowers and candy, plus your own cut Christmas tree to decorate around the holidays. On Sundays they put cinnamon rolls from Cinnamon's in the lobby, and they are to die for. The staff are always kind and accommodating, and I love the Christmas lights around the property and the in-room hot tubs. It's a quiet, romantic mountain getaway, and my dog loves watching the wild turkeys roam. Hope you enjoyed the cookies.

The location is so convenient, just a few minutes from the park entrance, but the place still feels tucked away and quiet in nature. Our cabin had a lovely mountain feel, cozy and spotless, with beautiful scenery all around. Everything was well maintained, and the amenities made it easy to relax after exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. Staff were warm and ready to help. I absolutely loved my stay at Castle Mountain Lodge and would happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting Estes Park.

There was plenty of space around the property to get outside and relax, with chairs, picnic tables, and campfire rings. The staff were very nice on the couple of occasions we spoke. We had a pleasant November stay at Castle Mountain Lodge. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and its kitchen had the basics for preparing small meals. Great experience, and I'd stay again.
