We spent an incredible week here, with two two-bedroom units next to each other, which was really convenient. The units were quiet, well built and insulated, and had everything we needed: equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces, and washers and dryers. There are BBQ grills around the property, a modest gym and game room, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi several times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Guests can borrow DVDs, games, and even fishing gear. The location is excellent for town, restaurants, shops, RMNP, and Country Market, which I found far better than the chain market in town. We also got lucky and saw the Northern Lights and elk. Housekeeping is only provided for stays of two weeks, and anyone in a second-floor unit should be prepared to carry their things upstairs. I’ll definitely try to stay here again next time.

Although the place was clean and quiet, with a nice location and super friendly, helpful staff, we wouldn't stay again. Our one-bedroom unit was just too cramped. It had an excessive amount of furniture, and we had to rearrange things to make room to move. The TVs were tiny, around 36 inches in the living room and even smaller in the main bedroom. They really should be upgraded to normal sizes. The unit has no full kitchen, just a stovetop with no oven, microwave, sink and dishwasher. There was hardly any pantry space, even for chips or cookies, unless we moved the dishes around. We hoped to cook a couple of dinners, but it was really only set up for breakfast. We’ve stayed at other Worldmark resorts with an in-unit washer and dryer; this one doesn't have them.

We paid over $500 for this Colorado resort and were really disappointed by the cleanliness and professionalism. The room didn't seem to have been properly cleaned: what looked like dirt or soot was on the bed, crust had built up on the window frames, and there was dust and debris around the couch. The closet door looked like it hadn't been wiped in weeks. There was also a strong vapor-like smell, which bothered me a lot because I'm very sensitive to odors. Later, coming back from an outing, I saw a cleaner leaving a room with a vape in her hand and smoke coming out of her mouth. I described her to another staff member, who said it was probably an employee named Denise. Vaping in or near guest rooms is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially in a place advertised as smoke-free at this price. The stay was uncomfortable and far below what we expected. I hope management fixes this so other guests don't have the same experience.

The river was right outside, just a few yards from our door, and every morning we had coffee there in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We spent most of our anniversary weekend in the suite because it was so comfortable, and barely left for the fishing gear and swimsuit I'd packed for the hot tubs. The one-bedroom suite was huge, with a full kitchen rather than the partial one we expected. The bed knocked me out every night, WiFi connected easily, the shower pressure was great, and hot water never ran out. The gas fireplace made it warm and romantic, and we hardly heard our neighbors. What really made the trip was how kind everyone was. When the shared grill wouldn't turn on while we were cooking anniversary steaks, we called the desk to ask about propane. Wu from maintenance arrived right away with a new tank, checked the grill, and found a leak. He soon returned with a brand-new grill, assembled it, wheeled it into place, hooked it up and tested it. It still had its protective tape on. He even tried to keep my husband from helping move the old one. Wu was thoughtful and determined to make sure dinner went well, and we appreciated him so much. The front office staff were warm and helpful too, and gave us a variety of spices and seasonings when we mentioned we had none for the steaks. The whole staff turned a simple weekend away into an unforgettable anniversary trip. We aren't used to this level of kindness and service.
