The best part of my stay was the Front Desk staff. They were professional, informative, thoughtful, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Parking was great, too. They put cones in several spaces for guests, so you just pick up a cone when you arrive and park there. I felt safe, and if you’re on the third floor like we were, the stairs have good handrails, though there are quite a few steps. The hotel is obviously very old, the rooms need updating, and the towels smelled like gym towels dried in bulk. Our room faced the street, so we expected some traffic noise, but the old single-pane windows did little to block it. The walls between rooms seemed thin too, if there was insulation at all. For a while we heard either a ghost or someone on our floor having a very passionate time. Good for them, but it made for a noisy night. I understand that outside traffic is beyond the hotel’s control, and I know from earlier reviews that the owner responds. Still, at $200+ a night, I expected better sleep. Updating the rooms and replacing the bath linens would help. Despite the noise and dated rooms, everything was very clean, which was a big plus, and the Front Desk staff were amazing.

I traveled with my brother and we didn’t want to share a queen bed, so we booked one of the enormous suites with two full bathrooms. The hotel is as period as it gets in Eureka, and the location is great. Parking is at the same altitude, and you can walk to most of the historic area and some great restaurants and live music in five minutes. The Front Desk staff were excellent and helpful. There were some minor issues and quirks with the room fixtures, so at first I was leaning toward a four. Then I got home and realized I’d left my favorite umbrella behind. I called the front desk the next day; they got housekeeping to find it and shipped it to my home address. That’s service. I’ll definitely return. Just be aware there’s no elevator and the stairs are steep, though they have good handrails.

The Grand is a beautiful old hotel that feels like stepping back in time, and it’s easy to walk downtown from there. The staff were super nice and went well above and beyond. We really enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend it for the Eureka Springs experience. ❤️

We came across the hotel on the spur of the moment and would happily stay again, though I hope the mattress gets replaced. Ours was really bad. It’s a charming historic place full of antiques, right on a wonderful Main Street in the awesome town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, with lots of good restaurants and shops. The hotel has a dark, moody atmosphere, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find a ghost or two.

It was clean and in a good location, and having reserved parking for our stay was handy. The rooms are a little dated, but that’s the feel they’re going for, and I just hadn’t realized that before arriving. The electronic locks drove me a little crazy, especially after a couple of drinks. Overall, I’d recommend staying there.
