Pointe West Resort Motel

Every room has a balcony overlooking the lake, which made morning coffee especially nice. In the evening, we relaxed by the fire pit and watched the sunset over the water. They provide the wood, fire starters, lighters, and everything for s'mores. The place is tucked away off the beaten path, and although the rooms are dated, they were very clean. New owners have recently taken over and are working to revitalize the motel/resort. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back!

We chose this motel for a one-night surprise anniversary trip because the website photos showed lovely views. They were accurate, and my husband, who loves nature, was delighted and surprised. Our basic double queen room had no theme, but it was neat and very clean. Julie was helpful and made it clear we could ask for extra towels or anything else, even though we didn't need anything. The location was away from Eureka Springs' crowded main streets, and we didn't hear other rooms or traffic that night. We loved our stay and would choose it again if we return to the area. I read that the motel was for sale and hope the new owners keep it the same.

I was a bit disappointed that smoking on the balcony isn't allowed anymore, since we've done that many times before. They do have a wonderful smoking area, though, with the absolute BEST view of Beaver Lake!

The balcony and lake view are the nicest parts, with a pleasant shaded spot to sit outside in the morning. The room was clean and reasonably priced, though otherwise it felt like an average place.
