The Trails Inn

The owner even tried to help when our car battery gave us trouble, which was so kind. We got a great deal on a king room for our first stay at The Trails Inn, and had a relaxing time in the chill atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful woods. It's clean and comfortable, close to the few food spots open until 11 p.m., and there's a trolley stop right out front. My wife and I love visiting Eureka Springs, and we can't wait to come back.

It's quiet, affordable, and in a cute little town, with a perfect location. The people are really friendly and more than accommodating. I'm working out in Fairfax right now, and they've been so kind, emptying the garbage, restocking the room, and making the bed while I'm out. I can't wait to return when I'm not here for work and do some sightseeing. :)

We stayed one night and found several flies in the room, including on the pillow and duvet. It felt unhygienic, and I couldn't feel comfortable sleeping there. After check-in, I messaged the property to ask for a fly trap or spray. They read the message but didn't help, so we spent about an hour removing the flies ourselves to avoid having them disturb our sleep. Our original booking was for an upstairs front room, but the room type had been changed without telling us before arrival. I understand that insects can occur in the area, but flies on the bedding and no response to a request for help weren't acceptable. The host apologized the next morning, but offered no meaningful solution or adjustment. I wouldn't stay here again.

The owner was so nice and accommodating, and our room was very clean. My wife and I absolutely loved staying here. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Eureka Springs, this is it, without question!
