The room was quiet and comfortable, and the internet worked reliably. Inside, the hotel felt warm and welcoming despite the freezing weather outside. Harry, Todd, and Isabella were especially kind, attentive, and professional. The property was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully run. I'd gladly come back and recommend it.

A big part of what made me feel welcome was Harry, the Manager/Owner, and his friendly staff. The Days Inn is exceptionally clean and well maintained compared with other hotels I've stayed at. Rooms have large-screen HDTVs, which I'd guess are at least 65 inches, with over 100 channels, including premium Showtime and HBO. There's free continental breakfast and an exercise room, plus restaurants, Walmart, and Aldi across the street. Great value. I've recommended it before and would again when visiting the Evans Mills/Watertown area.

The waffles were a bit undercooked, and there was no iron in the room. Also watch any food you leave out overnight, since ants may show up and get into it. The location is handy, with Walmart, Dollar Tree, and a 7-11 nearby for snacks. Apart from the waffles and ants, it's a great place overall.

My room was clean and the breakfast was good and tidy. I liked that the hotel sits about a mile from the main interstate, since the distance gave me some quiet after a long drive. I didn't notice any weed smell either. But some doors are broken and don't lock. The bathroom door in my room wouldn't close or lock, and the stairs at the end of the second-floor hallway were damaged.

I've stayed at the Days Inn in Evans Mills, and in my experience it's the best affordable, safe, really clean option around. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it feels like a home away from home. It suits people processing in or out at Fort Drum, traveling for business, or visiting the 1000 Islands and the pastoral countryside.
