There’s truck parking at the hotel, and breakfast in the morning was a nice continental spread. It was pet friendly when I stayed, with a charge of twenty dollars per night per pet. Food is close by too: Arby's and mcDonald's are across the parking lot, Burger, king is across the road, and subway is a block away.

The front desk lady was very nice, and Hotels.com was helpful when I called after discovering at check-in that my reservation had shifted from the 17th to the 24th in the app. I’d booked for the 17th, though I know the date change was my fault. Hotels.com was willing to switch it back if the hotel approved, but the owner/manager refused. That left a bad impression, and I don’t recommend spending money at this property. I’d also read reviews mentioning bed bugs, so I was glad I ended up at a better hotel in the area.

The room was clean and affordable, and comfortable enough though nothing fancy. Breakfast was the best part of my visit, with plenty of variety, juices and pastries, plus hot biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage links. Believe it or not, the coffee was fresh, hot, and very good.

The staff were friendly and remembered me during my 19 nights there. I was on the first floor and felt safe the whole stay. Breakfast was decent, with some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had, and I liked the waffle maker. Go early if you want fresher food. No elevator or gym, though.
