Prairie Inn

The only suggestion I'd make is not to close the lobby from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We had a great stay and would recommend this motel. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The décor is a little dated, but everything was well maintained and cozy. The housekeepers really went above and beyond. The front office staff were professional and caring. They let us check in before 3 p.m. and even walked with us to the room to make sure everything was in order, which felt like a nice personal touch.

The breakfast is simple, but handy when you want something quick. We also liked the double doors to the room, which made it feel more comfortable and accessible. The property is a bit older, but very clean, well maintained, and professionally run. It was nice that it's pet-friendly. My husband and I stayed here a few days ago and had a great experience. Everyone we dealt with, from housekeeping and maintenance to the front desk, was friendly and professional. You can tell the managers, Bobby and Kevin, care about the place and take pride in it. We'd definitely stay again.

The price was amazing for what you get, and it felt safe with the area kept tidy. The clerk was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and dogs were welcome at no extra charge, with a nice grassy patch for them. TV channels were limited but perfectly adequate. This is a hidden gem I'd go out of my way to stay at.

I spent three months here while working in Kemmmerer. I chose to stay in the city because it had more options, and Prairie Inn turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The staff, especially Kevin and his team, go above and beyond. The place is well kept, and there's Danish and coffee in the morning from about 7 to 10, I believe. There's more than just pastries, too. I've got nothing but respect for the staff. If you're on the road and need a place, or if 80 gets closed, I'd recommend it 100%. It's great with pets as well.
