Holiday Inn Evansville Airport

The pool was a hit with our kids, and the buffet breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Tamra made check-in feel welcoming from the start, and she was so nice and cheerful. The hotel and its beautiful decor were clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Yes, the building is old, but we had an awesome stay. I’m not sure why there are such bad reviews, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Evansville.

The laundry facility was nice, and the third-shift front desk staff were very nice as well. But I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you keep odd hours or need to sleep during the day. The pool is visible from every room, and the noise was extreme. Our room was only partly remodeled, with missing baseboards, carpet stains, and a random bug on the wall. I requested a mini fridge for my week-long work stay, but never got one. I wouldn’t bring my business here again.

We slept very well in a comfortable, clean room, and there was an indoor pool that many guests seemed to enjoy, though we didn’t use it. The banquet food tasted good but was cold, and staff gave about average personal attention. The hotel itself feels tired and a bit neglected. We’d stay again if the chance came up.

Billie at the front desk was delightful, and the bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. There’s an indoor pool, restaurant, and a roomy complimentary breakfast area. It’s a decent, economical stay, though the common areas and rooms feel dated. The carpet was worn and stained, the toilet leaked, and the ceiling in my room had been patched poorly.
