Inn at Port Gardner-Everett Waterfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the view was beautiful. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, from the welcoming front desk attendant to the staff who responded quickly when I called. They even offered to send maintenance right away when I mentioned an issue, although we were about to leave and didn’t need them to come. In the morning, they called to say our larger food order would be a little late. Parking was easy, and I liked the little gift and breakfast baskets. The lobby locks at night, which made me feel safe. There’s a $75 security deposit, clearly stated, and check-in went smoothly. I’d rate the stay 9/10 and would come back.

Paul at the front desk was great, friendly and really helpful. The hotel was clean, though it’s showing its age. The breakfast delivery was a letdown: the “steak breakfast burrito” seemed to be an El Monterey frozen burrito straight from the microwave, and it was really disgusting. The rest of breakfast wasn’t much better. It spoiled what had otherwise been a pleasant stay.

The online photos don’t do this place justice. It was much nicer than I expected for such a reasonable rate, and the location was terrific with lots of good restaurants nearby. Clean, cozy, and the breakfast was great.

The staff were really friendly, the location was great, and breakfast was cute. Thanks to the team and management. I’ll definitely come back.
