Our first bed and breakfast experience was a lovely one. My fiancee and I were in Evergreen for a wedding, and this charming place welcomed everyone warmly. Wendy and the team did a fantastic job, from keeping the rooms clean to serving an amazing breakfast the next morning. A total 10/10 from us, and we’d highly recommend it if you enjoy a beautiful bed and breakfast experience.

Wendy was wonderful, available when we needed her while still giving us space. The Bears Inn is gorgeous, with every little detail immaculately cared for. The property is stunning, and the outdoor hot tub was the icing on the cake. It would be perfect for a destination wedding or family reunion. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the bed and breakfast to ourselves for two nights, and it was charming, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and restful. The breakfasts were amazing, unlike anything I’ve had at the many B&Bs we’ve visited around the country. Mountain views from the patio and hot tub, lovely landscaped patio seating, and the charm of an inn built in 1928 all added to the stay. Stephanie welcomed us and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The owner, Vicki, was also there, friendly, and mindful of our need for privacy. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff and owner were lovely. Vicki knows how to run a successful B&B. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Bears Inn. We’ll return someday and highly recommend it.

We booked the entire Bear's Inn for some of our wedding guests, and we couldn’t be happier with that choice. We only wish we’d skipped the brunch we booked for the day after and eaten at the inn again. Our wedding was in Evergreen, Colorado, and we wanted guests arriving from abroad and across the US to have plenty of relaxed time to visit. The night before, the staff helped host an Open House at the inn with pizza and drinks. They made people feel welcome, even baking white-chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. When we ran over schedule, everyone stayed on to help, going beyond what anyone had to do. On the wedding morning, they served a beautiful, delicious brunch, thoughtfully planned around each guest’s dietary preferences and food dislikes. They also helped us store the flowers we’d arranged ourselves, making space in rooms and refrigerators and helping move them around. On our last day, since we’d again foolishly booked brunch in town, the Bear's Inn sent Stephanie to help serve our guests at the other venue. She brought several delicious fruit salads, too. They’re a very sweet group, and we can wholeheartedly recommend them as courteous, thoughtful people who were wonderful to us as an intercultural LGBT couple. That isn’t always the case. By the end of our stay, my husband was already talking about anniversary trips back.

We celebrated our anniversary here and honestly didn’t want to go. The beds were comfy, and every room has its own theme, with a great atmosphere throughout. The main dining room has a private, high-end feel, and the restaurant across the parking lot is amazing. The hot tub was a relaxing finishing touch. Highly recommend.
