Colorado Bear Creek Cabins

The sound of Bear Creek just outside the cabin made for such a peaceful night's sleep. I stayed one night and loved the cozy place, its rustic mountain feel, and the modern comforts. Check-in was easy, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. You're close to Evergreen's shops and restaurants, yet it still feels tucked into nature. I wish I could've stayed longer, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, refreshing mountain getaway.

It's a serene spot for a relaxing stay, a little out of the way, with Evergreen nearby for restaurants and shopping. The cabins face Bear Creek and were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We met the owner and found him very nice. The cleaning crew was nice too, and everyone we met, employees and guests alike, was friendly.

We loved our stay and hope to come back next year. The cabins are rustic, with a great view of the stream, and stocked with dishes, coffee, a coffee maker, towels, shampoo, and more. The beds weren't all that comfortable to me, and I wish I'd brought my own pillow, but we flew in. On our second morning, a large herd of Elk appeared right in front of our cabin! For the last five hours before checkout, we lost power and water because of Evergreen city utilities, so we couldn't shower or flush the toilets. We felt bad about that. The owner stayed on site, was very nice about it, and offered us a small refund.

The location was very good and the outdoors looked beautiful, with clean grounds. Staff were pleasant. The room was tiny, and so was the bathroom. The bed was extremely uncomfortable.
