Marble Mansion Inn

The Innkeeper at Marble Mansion Inn made a great first impression. I emailed with a question and got a clear, friendly reply very quickly. The communication felt both professional and genuinely attentive, which was refreshing. I’m impressed by the customer service.

Breakfast was a highlight: we sat in the formal dining room by the huge windows, looking out over the beautifully kept grounds. There were fresh-baked cream cheese scones, bagels, croissants, berries, bananas and cereals, followed by a cheesy egg omelette and maple bacon. Even the coffee was delicious, and chatting with the owner was a bonus. Our room felt like a step back in time, with modern conveniences and a large, super comfortable bed. Check-in was personal too. They offered to carry our bags since there are no elevators, showed us to the room, and made sure everything was fine. We loved our stay at the Marble Mansion Inn and will come back. The couple we brought there from Canada will too!

The bright, sunny dining room makes a lovely setting for a delicious breakfast, and we slept like logs in our clean room. We’ve stayed in two different rooms now, and both had that authentic charm. This was our second visit to the Marble Mansion, and we’ll return again. It’s a very old former home, so don’t expect a chain-style stay. That’s exactly why we like this lovely inn.

We showed up without planning ahead, and the owner fitted us in as long as there was availability. The old marble building is lovely, with nice rooms, and the male host was really engaging. A nice bed and breakfast.
