I picked it because the price seemed right and arrived without knowing quite what to expect. The owner's care really showed, and my room was in great shape. It had a bed, shower stall, and a proper kitchen with a full-size fridge. Whether you're staying a few days or much longer, it feels like a home away from home. I'd book here again if I return to Fairbanks.
We stayed a few nights in a studio condo in Fairbanks and found it comfortable and quiet. The yard views made it feel homey, and the kitchen and housekeeping supplies were all there, from dishes and pans to spices. It seems set up for longer stays, but shorter bookings are fine too. Check-in is online and you get a door code; we never saw anyone else. There's no sign because it's really a condo, not a hotel, but GPS found it easily.
The rooms were clean and the service was great. I couldn't tell from the room instructions how to get the towels changed, though.
The rooms were good and breakfast is free in the morning. There was kind of a smell, though.
It's a decent place to stay, and breakfast is pretty good. Usually not too pricey either.
