Comfort Inn University Center

There was plenty of free parking, and the front desk team were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free too. From the outside the hotel looks great, but inside the rooms, lobby, and restrooms all feel dated and overdue for renovation. I usually enjoy staying at Comfort Inn, so this one was a little disappointing compared with the others.

The room was so dirty and smelly that we left shortly after checking in. The carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed, and there was a pill on the floor that looked like some kind of supplement. Even the ice machine was disgusting. After walking down the hall and back, I felt like I needed an antibiotic. We moved to a nearby hotel instead. I can't believe this place gets good reviews. Brian at the front desk was amazing, though. He gladly refunded our stay, and he really saved our weekend getaway. Thanks so much, Brian, I appreciate you! Give him a raise. 😊✨

The location is good, right beside a shopping center, and the room itself was pretty clean and comfortable. The elevator was out of service when I checked in, and I was traveling with my wife, our four-month-old, and a couple of bags. They put us on the second floor. I asked if we could get a first-floor room, but was told that option had only one bed, so I stayed upstairs. When I asked for help carrying our things, they said no and ignored me. That felt a little rude. Otherwise, I liked the place and the surroundings.

This place badly needs a renovation. Everything felt dated and stale, the beds were worn out and uncomfortable, and the outlets and USB ports were worn too. There were stains everywhere, and they still use bar soap.
