DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites

I was here for a conference and a show. The lobby hallways were pretty small, but the rooms seemed really nice, and the lobby itself was large. The staff were really nice. There’s plenty of parking, and it’s close to the airports and right off the I-80 interstate. A great place to spend the night when you need to be near the airport.

After four nights, the air conditioning in my room stopped working, and I was understandably frustrated. Luck at the front desk and Mikele sincerely apologized and quickly offered to move me to another room. Luck even volunteered to help carry my luggage upstairs. The next morning Darolyn heard what happened and offered to comp my breakfast and asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. I appreciated the offer, though Luck and Mikele had already taken great care of it. I travel all over the world and can honestly say the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield team is one of the most impressive I’ve met. Their professionalism, compassion, and customer service turned a frustrating problem into a positive experience. Thank you, Luck, Mikele, and Darolyn. I’ll definitely be back.

Our wedding guests were coming from across the country and made their plans based on the signed room block agreement we had fulfilled. Then, with just 37 days before our wedding, the hotel told us it was canceling the block to accommodate another party. This was a formal, legally binding contract, not a tentative hold. Releasing a confirmed wedding block weeks before the event shows a serious lack of professionalism and disregard for its obligations. The team hasn’t meaningfully taken responsibility or offered suitable compensation, and after the initial notice, they stopped answering our follow-up emails. This has caused stress, financial inconvenience, and frantic scrambling less than six weeks before one of the most important days of our lives. Weddings take months or even years to plan. If the hotel will cancel a signed agreement on 37 days’ notice for its own convenience, couples should think seriously before trusting it with their event. My fiancé and I are extremely disappointed and strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere. Do not book here.

The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and great amenities. The convenient location near major highways works well for either business or leisure travel. The staff were warm and professional, and check-in set a good tone from the start. We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites, with true Hilton-level hospitality. We’d definitely stay again.
