Barons Inn

We came in on motorcycles, and the owners and their family were so friendly and accommodating. They even made sure we had a shady spot to park. The rooms have been remodeled recently, with crown molding, comfortable beds, and air conditioning that works great. I'd happily come back anytime.

I was charged $50 for a cleaning fee when we left, even though the site never mentioned it. Fees like that are usually included elsewhere. I'd also booked the wrong date, and when I called, the employee was rude and wouldn't change it, so I paid for an extra day I didn't even use. Then the employee confronted us about our negative review and was rude again. The photos don't match the property, which needs updating, and the bathroom was extremely small.

The rooms inside are really nice, freshly painted and remodeled, even though the weathered exterior by the bay might put you off at first. The owners were lovely, friendly, and accommodating, and the price was very reasonable. I loved staying here and will be back!

The bay and the surrounding area are beautiful, but this place feels very dated and costs too much for what it is. The room was clean, though it smelled like someone had just sprayed Brute aftershave everywhere. The owners should update the place so it fits in better with the scenery.
