Comfort Inn Falls Church - Tysons Corner

The outside looks worn, but inside this Comfort Inn is modern, updated, and super clean. I recommend getting a second-floor room by the lobby, since the first floor has a sort of basement feel. Breakfast was hot and good, 10/10. You don't need a key card to get into the building or use the elevator.

The hotel felt dated, though the staff were friendly and there is on-site parking. My room was spacious, but I was first put on the 1st floor and had to ask to move because it was so humid and noisy. The front desk is on the main, 2nd floor, while the 1st feels like a basement, with a huge laundry room washing and cleaning linens. I'd avoid that floor.

The front desk woman ruined my stay. I saw her mistreat several people, then laugh and smile as they walked away upset. She seemed lazy and wouldn't bring out coffee even with a line of people waiting. When I asked about breakfast, she laughed and said I wouldn't get anything until 7AM. Watching how she treated people was awful.

I had to check out at 4:30AM for a flight. The day before, I asked if reception would be staffed that early and was told it was there 24/7. Nobody was at the lobby desk. After I yelled a couple of times, a girl who was clearly asleep came over from the dining area to help, causing a 30-minute delay. The connecting door to the next room means people can hear your old TV, phone calls, and conversations with family or a partner. At midnight I was woken by the couple next door having sex. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have no other choice around Falls Church.
