Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge

The staff were really kind and helped with whatever we needed. Our room had enough space for my wife, our baby, and me, and the pool looked clean and well cared for, though mid-September was too chilly for us to use it. The location worked well: two minutes on foot to Black Dog Cafe, six to the island queen ferry, three to the beach, and a short drive to Starbucks and Main Street shops and markets. It's a motel, so don't expect a five-star hotel. It's a good place to sleep if you'll be out most of the day. I didn't post photos since the ones online show the place pretty accurately.

We stayed in the two-bedroom loft and it had everything we needed. Spacious, clean, and quiet, with the beach and restaurants just steps away. The ferry is walkable too, and the price felt especially reasonable for that location. We'd definitely come back.

Our cottage was so sweet, and we loved having our own patio to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze. It had been fully renovated, and we could easily walk to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommend it.

The small rooms were clean, but that was about the only good part. The shower drain backed up after about a minute, and the fire alarm woke everyone at 4:00 am, then went off again at 5:15. I was too angry to get back to sleep. At $200 a night, the owner should be ashamed. Avoid this place. I told the front desk what I thought, and they said I'd get some kind of partial refund. It never arrived, no surprise.
