Quality Inn & Suites Williamsport

The room was dirty and smelled bad, and there were stains everywhere, rust in many places, and loud buzzing from the lights. The whole facility smelled like a giant cigarette, and everything felt old and run down. The rooms were small, painfully basic, and had nowhere to sit except the bed. There was no closet, just a bar for hanging things in the bathroom. You enter from outside, and there was a lot of noise. For a "3 star hotel," it felt like a low-end motel from a 90s movie, in the worst way. Preserve your dignity and stay at the Hampton down the street. You're welcome.

The cleaning and breakfast were okay, but the front desk should give guests more information. I had to look online to find the breakfast hours and checkout time. There were also a few things in the room that needed attention: the mattress sagged so much in the middle that my lower back hurt every morning, the toilet had to be held down until it finished flushing, the fridge freezer had a lot of ice and needed defrosting, and the outside light didn't work.

The rooms aren't consistent, and you have to gamble on whether yours will have a microwave and fridge. Either way, you'll pay the same or even more for a room without either. The breakfast bar is pathetic: cereal with no milk, no coffee, and maybe waffles if the machine works. The staff are awful, unhelpful, don't do their jobs, and don't care about doing them. There's also favoritism at the hotel and a lack of equality between rooms.

The location was good, close to everything. The other front desk staff were great, but Dylan was horrible to deal with. The first room was barely clean, with pet hair all over it. In the second one, there were mouse droppings and a mouse running around at night, so yeah.
