Hampton Inn Fayetteville Fort Bragg

I stayed two nights at this Hampton Inn in Fayetteville. The room was spacious and looked clean, apart from an unpleasant smell from the carpet on the right side of the bed, which seemed to need a good cleaning. The air wasn't circulating, and the AC never came on, perhaps because nights had started getting chilly, even though it was set to 69 degrees. Some staff were friendly, while others at the front desk just ignored me. Breakfast was decent, but they should add more fresh fruit. Tea, coffee, and cookies were always fresh and available in the early evening. The stale sweat smell from the pillows and the carpet by the right side of the bed are why I gave three stars. Thankfully, I brought my travel pillows and could sleep on the left side.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and clearly well cared for. At check-in, Yssa knew the hotel and its amenities inside out, and was engaging and welcoming. The breakfast team also did a great job keeping everything tidy and replenished, especially the young woman we met first, whose name I’m sorry I can’t recall. We haven’t had such attentive service in a long time. It made for a really pleasant stay.

I travel often for work, and Yssa was one of the most genuinely welcoming front desk staff I’ve met in years. When I asked to switch floors, she handled it easily and never made me feel like I was being a bother. She’s a real asset to the hotel.

The room worked especially well for our family. I loved having a full bathroom with a tub, shower, toilet, and two sinks, so getting ready in the morning didn’t wake everyone else. There was also a mini fridge, which saved us time and made things easier. Breakfast was delicious, and Krystal was so helpful each morning, even finding foil for me to wrap up lunch. We were there for three nights for a three-day convention, and the welcome sign at the front desk was a lovely touch. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and they made our stay in Fayetteville comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you!
