Comfort Inn & Suites Fenton

While we were between selling our old home and moving into our new one, we needed a place to stay. This hotel offered the best rate we found. Everyone has been so kind. Flint really needs to bring its hotel prices down!

We lived in the area for 20 years and have stayed here twice to visit friends and family. It's centrally located, close to restaurants and stores, and the hotel is in excellent condition. The lobby and adjoining dining area are very clean. There's a nice pool with a jacuzzi tub, plus an exercise room next door. Breakfast has eggs, ham, waffles, juice, and coffee, and was good. The rooms are well appointed and the staff are friendly. It's a nice place to stay.

The place stinks, and there were trash and dog poop bags scattered outside. They say they're pet friendly, but pets aren't allowed in the Jacuzzi rooms. When we tried to use the actual Jacuzzi, it was trashed and crowded with people, and they wouldn't let us in. The jets didn't work either. They refused to refund our money. Their customer service sucks, and they're completely full of crap.

I wouldn't recommend this place. I spent two nights here with my two-year-old daughter and found an unmarked pill on the floor, popcorn kernels all over, and dead black beetles. The other guests were loud, running up and down the halls all night, and nobody stopped them. I wasn't offered anything beyond having the room cleaned, so I called customer relations. They offered me enough membership points for a $25 gift card.
