Fenwick Islander Motel

Karen is fantastic! The prices and accommodations were wonderful, the rooms were clean, and the service was friendly. Getting the bus to the boardwalk or anywhere else down the strip was super easy. Definitely coming back, and I don't think you'll regret booking it.

Karen at the front desk made us feel welcome and took time to explain both the motel and the area. She helped with the booking, checked in about our travel on arrival day, and asked when we'd get in. When we asked where to eat, she pointed us to a delicious restaurant and a great breakfast cafe, both within walking distance. The Fenwick Islander was bright, welcoming, and impeccably clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach is also within walking distance. We stayed October 4th through October 6th and will certainly stay again when we're in the area.

The room smelled like urine and mold, and there was nowhere else to move us. It was late, so we stayed that night and left the next day. They charged my card $300 even though I hadn't stayed there using that card. We'd used someone else's card the day before. Go anywhere else. The front desk wouldn't give me the owner's number, and after I left mine, he never called back.

It's a basic, no-frills hotel, but it was great for that. The staff were friendly and knew their stuff. The rooms were clean and some had recently been upgraded. The beach was only about a block away, and there's also a small but nice outdoor pool.
