The breakfast had coffee, waffles, bread, cereal, and bananas, and for a low-cost hotel with breakfast included, I didn’t see much point in complaining. The crowd there was a little uncomfortable, though. We also didn’t have to pay the cash deposit, despite some reviews mentioning it and the desk bringing it up. Maybe it depends on the worker, or maybe they profile people. I can’t tell. We picked this place for one night because it was cheaper, and the reviews had me a bit anxious. The building feels like an old, beat-up house and smells strongly of cleaning chemicals. The rooms are worn, but it was clear the cleaners were doing their best with what they had. I didn’t think the beds were dirty, just old and not especially comfortable. The workers were friendly, and we didn’t feel unsafe. You get what you pay for. If you’re trying to save money and want somewhere not awful, it could work. Would we stay again? Maybe!

Breakfast is pretty decent, and some of the staff are good people. Service can still be hit or miss depending on who’s working. The rooms are extremely subpar, and children can be heard screaming a lot, sometimes until midnight or later. I’d stay only if you’re okay with that.

I’ve stayed twice and plan to come back in a couple of weeks. So far the rooms have been clean, everything has worked, and I haven’t had trouble with staff. They’ve always been friendly, helpful, and smiling. I missed breakfast both times, though the coffee is good enough for me. The place and its location aren’t anything to be picky about, given the Fife and Tacoma area and how little is around. Still, I have nothing to complain about, and it’s good value compared with other hotels and inns. I’ll update this if anything changes next time.

The rate was more than fair, especially with so much close by, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The casino is right across the street. I needed a motel with tractor trailer parking, and although I wasn’t expecting much from an independent place, it turned out very clean and everything worked. The front desk guy knew his stuff and check-in was smooth.
