Americas Best Value Inn Finlayson

The staff were nice, but the room was way overpriced for what we got. It smelled so strongly of wet dog, and the carpet was so wet it soaked through my socks. There was old cleaner dried all over the bathroom, mold in the shower, no shower curtain, and hair in the sheets. I understand it’s pet-friendly, but that smell was bad.

I’m staying here for at least a month because a fire and the sprinkler system damaged my home. I’m really glad they let me bring my two cats, which is a rare amenity. The price is lower than most places, and the man who checked me in was very nice. The room is clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable king bed, a table and two chairs, a recliner, a fridge, and a microwave. The inside is really nice. There’s no pool, but that’s not a big deal to me, and I’m so happy they’re cat-friendly. There’s no breakfast, though a restaurant, bar, and convenience store are right across the street. I’ll recommend this motel to others!

The staff were friendly, and the price was affordable. There was a work station with a computer chair, and the location was nice. The AC was cold, but the room had a bit of a dingy smell. The free coffee is available 24 hours, though it doesn’t taste like coffee at all. There are no vending machines. The soap bars and bath towels are tiny, and the linens look like they’re from the 70s or 80s.

The manager was so nice, and I’d stay here again. There’s no breakfast, despite what Google says. The beds were excellent, the room stayed dark at night, and the A/C worked well. It’s comfortable and in a good location. There was a stale odor when I first walked in, but it wasn’t objectionable.
