Peninsula Park-View Resort

We came with our one-year-old, and the room was roomy enough for all three of us, comfortable, well lit, and clean feeling. The water pressure was perfect, the bathroom stayed warm, and we got clean towels every morning. It was easy to log in to our favorite streaming channels, and check-out was as easy as check-in. The staff member at the desk chatted with me, thanked us for staying even though we hadn’t had a chance to talk earlier, and nearly insisted I take coffee for the road. When I called at 3:40 to say we were running late, the woman who answered was so sweet and pleasant that she took away the stress of being behind schedule. We arrived around 6:30 pm and our room was ready. The rooms are as stairs as cleanliness being a major point of pride, but it really felt clean. I also ran into one of the housekeeping staff the next day, I believe her name was Janice, though I’m sorry if I got it wrong. She was equally sweet, asked if we needed anything, and took time to show me around the property and the bulletin board of local events. She also shared her own recommendations. The place felt comfortable and lived in, while still being modern, clean, and well kept. It’s impressive to have that homey feel and keep things orderly and maintained. The five stars were earned. I definitely recommend staying here and will keep the resort in mind for our next trip to Door County.

We chose the Garden King on our second visit to the resort with my girlfriend, and loved the experience both times. The room felt like home, was well cleaned, and the kitchenette was perfect. I’d absolutely return to the Peninsula Park View Resort.

The free bikes were a highlight of our first Door County visit. Reception helped us plan a route with the best views, and room 7 was spacious and comfortable for two. It looked great and renovated. I’d recommend this inn.

The location is right in the middle of lots of tourists locations, which made the drive easy for my mom, who hates driving. The front desk lady and housekeeping are very sweet, and the rooms are the cleanest you’ll ever find. If I could give it 10 stars, I’d give it 100.
