The pool is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., a calm place to recharge after a day's travels. There's also a gym for a good workout before the next leg of the trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and arranged with care. Check-in went quickly and smoothly, no Jedi mind trick needed. I don't feel comfortable staying here, and if my job weren't booking this place, I'd never come back. I was bitten by bed bugs last week (1/14/26), and I wasn't happy about it. I also wouldn't leave anything valuable in the room. Housekeeping seemed to go through my things while I was away. I set up a booby trap, took pictures of how I left my belongings, and found things out of place multiple times. If you care about your things, leave them in your car or at home. The staff were rude except for the manager, Stephanie. When I brought issues to the front desk, everyone but Stephanie acted like I was speaking a foreign language or something. Do not stay at this hotel.

Breakfast didn't have much flavor or variety, and the TV was incredibly small for the room and its price, though we're not big TV watchers. The bed was hard, a firm mattress, and I get what the previous review meant about tin cans. The walls and floor must be thin because we heard the person above walking around for what felt like most of the evening and early morning. We stayed here a year ago, when the elevator already sounded like it was about to break. This year it was broken, so we had to use the stairs. The water was barely warm, and the shower pressure was a joke.

The room was very nice and clean, and the location worked perfectly for me, about 15 minutes from where I needed to go. I do plan to return. The night audit guy at 11 p.m. wasn't very friendly when I checked in. Maybe I'd interrupted his movie on his phone. I did wonder how he could hear anything with earbuds in. Also, it's been two weeks and the $50 hold on my card for "incidentals" is still there, which is irritating.
