Our September 2023 stay at Hatcher Pass Cabins left us with memories we still carry. The owner was welcoming and a pleasure to meet, and we loved hearing her stories and local tips. She even let us rinse the road dust off our car with her hose, such a thoughtful kindness. We felt comfortable and looked after the whole time. The cabin was clean, cozy, private, and well thought out, with everything we needed. After exploring, it was a quiet place to unwind. The mountain views, fresh air, and sounds of nature made mornings special, and the stars at night were unlike anything we’d seen. The setting felt peaceful and immersed in nature. It’s a great base for hiking and exploring Hatcher Pass, or just enjoying Alaska’s quiet beauty. The care in the cabin and the host’s hospitality both stood out. We’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Alaska. It’s a special place we’ll cherish.

This little cabin was cozy and had the basic necessities. It gave us the Alaska winter experience we wanted in Palmer. The service was excellent, and the location was very good too. Loved our stay.

We reported a small problem with the door lock, and it was fixed before we got back from breakfast. The place was clean, simple, and really nice. We can’t wait to stay at Hatcher Pass Cabins again, and we also discovered something unexpected up at Hatcher Pass!
