The host was friendly and understanding, but the whole booking process was a mess. Their website wouldn’t work, and when I called the “bed and breakfast,” communication was poor. I booked through Priceline, then at check-in the host said I hadn’t paid. After an hour on the phone, we sorted it out, and I was told I had to book directly with the host. They need to get this figured out or stop advertising through companies that don’t give clear instructions. We chose the place for the pool, but it was green when we arrived. The host said a pool company had come to fix it, though it clearly hadn’t been working for a while, and there was no notice that it was out of service. There was no breakfast either, so calling it a bed and breakfast doesn’t fit. The room smelled musty, with moisture collectors all over, so they seem to know there’s a dampness problem. Friends of ours later booked because they had few options, and found someone still in their room when they tried to enter. I don’t know how that happens with only five or six rooms. It could be a nice place, but it needs a lot of work. I won’t be back.
