Budget Inn Flagstaff

The room was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. My only gripe was that the bed felt pretty hard. For what it costs, though, I wasn't expecting perfection.

After an eight-hour drive, it was a relief to arrive somewhere clean, safe, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, and even let us check in late after the office had closed. The room was spotless, and we were happy with the location, including a great breakfast spot nearby. The shampoo, conditioner and body lotion they provided felt high quality. We were very thankful for the stay.

I used to inspect rooms for work, so I tend to look everything over before settling in. Check-in at the Front Desk was pleasant, and I liked that they don't use comforters, since those only get washed once or twice a month. The shower curtain had been replaced, which deserves a kudo, and the room was dust free with all the supplies provided. TV, refrigerator and microwave all worked well, and the heating unit kept the room toasty on a cold night. Just two small issues: there was hair in the tub, and a rotisserie chicken from Sprout was left in the freezer. Otherwise, no major complaints. I'm thoroughly enjoying my stay so far.

I was nervous about staying somewhere like Budget Inn, but the room made a good first impression. The walls looked freshly painted, the furniture was in decent shape, and the beds were clean and fresh, with mattresses that looked brand new. There was a little Keurig with four coffee pods and one tea pod, plus a large fridge and microwave. It was a bit outdated, but relatively spotless, and no bed bugs to report. Good price, clean room. I'd stay again.
