Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Flagstaff Downtown, AZ

The rooms are amazing, with top-notch cleanliness and quality, and the toilet was nicely cleaned too. We checked in on the night of Dec. 25, and the gentleman at reception got the paperwork done as quickly as possible. We asked for extra blankets, and the same person on night duty brought them right over. I really wasn't expecting that. Kudos to him. Don't bother looking for another high-end hotel.

The suite was clean, comfortable, and practical for a short stay, with plenty of space for the area. I'd recommend it for a family of four. The shower had good, adequate pressure, and breakfast was decent and kept well stocked, with several refills during my stay. Dining options are close by, as is typical in the small and conveniently laid-out town of Page.

Breakfast was a nice free perk. We had bacon and waffles, and there were cereal, bananas, and other choices. One of us had forgotten a toothbrush, and the front desk gave one for free. My only complaint: while we were packing, a maid came into the room without knocking. We hadn't locked the door because we were just packing, though we should have. Still, aren't maids, the older woman with black hair, trained to knock first? Highly recommend. We'd stay again. But always lock your doors! Haha.

The location made the stay easy. We could walk to plenty of downtown restaurants and bars instead of driving, and parking was $6, which seemed reasonable given the hourly rates downtown. Staff were nice, breakfast was decent, and the lobby sometimes had complimentary cookies. The sugar cookies were really good. The place itself was decent.
