Courtyard Flagstaff

The courtyard was a lovely place to sit, with plenty of seating and a fire pit for cold winter nights. The rooms were stylish and thoughtfully furnished. My wife and I had a wonderful stay, and the hotel was nicer than we expected. Everyone on staff we met was unusually kind and professional. For context, I've been Titanium or Platinum Elite for many years and have stayed at many Marriott hotels. It’s a great base for visiting the Grand Canyon while also enjoying good restaurants and downtown Flagstaff nightlife.

The location was convenient, near Highway 40, other main roads, Flagstaff shopping centers, and a big Walmart. The rooms felt new, clean, and fresh, with a comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi that was easy to connect to, and a larger bathtub with clean, new fixtures. I was disappointed to find only a pool in the pool area. The photos showed a Jacuzzi, and I thought there would be one. Parking costs money, with $8 listed online. At check-in, they assumed we wanted to pay for parking without asking, and I think they should have told us beforehand. It looks like they hadn’t billed me for it by the time I checked out. I also didn’t see any good Elite member spots near the entrance, which would have been a nice way to show appreciation. There were lots of people after Christmas, so parking could be hard to find.

Great team and staff. Jenny and Minh took special care to make our stay comfortable and a good experience. The property is well located, within walking distance of major city spots or a short, free tram ride away. Parking spots are limited, so book with the hotel ahead of time. You can also park on the street for free from 7 PM to 7 AM. M

The room was spacious and clean, with a simple, no-fuss layout. I liked having a mini couch in front of the TV. The hotel and its facilities were well kept, which is my main priority. We rented a Tesla for our vacation, so the on-site Tesla charging station came in handy. Would highly recommend.
