Flagstaff Motel

The price looks reasonable now, but when we stayed we paid $200 plus tax, which didn't feel worth it. Service was basically just check-in, though staff did call to confirm our arrival time. The room wasn't in great shape, and I don't remember sleeping well. The mini fridge and TV were decent, but the A/C looked ancient.

The owner was friendly, but the room was dirty and run-down. There were odd stains on the main room walls and bathroom ceiling, insects in the bathroom, and one of the bed sheets was dirty. I've paid less for much better rooms.

The Dominos delivery was really quick and the food was awesome. The room, though, wasn't very clean. When I pulled back the blanket there were spiders, the floors were badly stained, and there was only one small trash can. No Kleenex or shampoo either. The mattress was so old I could feel every spring. At $89 a night, I'd sleep in my Jeep next time. There was soap and a refrigerator.

For $50 for one person overnight, this little old motel was good enough for me. It may not have been as clean as some people want, but it was clean enough, and I didn’t get bed bugs, so I’m happy. Anyone expecting the Ritz-Carlton is out of their mind. I’d stay again when passing through Flagstaff.
