The room was roomy and clean, with firm beds, all the toiletries we needed, warm or hot water, and a heater that worked well. Our stay started off on a good note thanks to the young man at the lobby desk and his good customer service. Breakfast was okay, with cereal, eggs, potatoes, bread, juice, coffee, and oatmeal packets when we went around 7:30. The area was small and couldn’t fit everyone, and I wish they’d had a protein option. There’s no elevator, but I’d definitely recommend staying here.

All four rooms our large group booked were clean and comfortable, and the place felt safe for a night. Breakfast was the weak spot. We first went down at 7 and caught the end of a rush, with nowhere to sit, hardly any food, and no coffee. At 8 there were only a few guests, and food was gradually coming back out. There’s just a microwave, no toaster for bagels or bread. One person was trying to restock food and drinks, check people out, and answer a phone that kept ringing. They deserve credit for staying pleasant and thanking everyone for their patience while helping and bringing food out. Still, one worker between 6 and 9 can’t keep up with that breakfast crowd. If a decent breakfast matters to you, look elsewhere. If you just need a safe, comfortable place to sleep, this works.

We ended up leaving to find a restaurant because the breakfast was so limited and messy, and it didn’t seem very sanitary. There weren’t any forks or spoons either, which was a letdown with hungry kids along. The check-in staff were really friendly, and the simple rooms were good for the price.

The beds were comfortable, at least. But for a middle-tier price, this felt like a Motel 6 stay, and there are cheaper places if all you need is a bed. We paid for two queens, though those beds didn’t seem queen-sized to me. The rooms are small, and the bathroom exhaust fan was hanging from the ceiling. And if breakfast is supposed to start at 6:00 AM, it should be ready at 6:00.

Our room was squeaky clean, even though we got nervous when we realized it was a pet hotel. I’m sure the hardwood floor helps. The staff were accommodating, and breakfast was great, with a self-serve waffle maker and everything. We really enjoyed our time here, a perfect one-night stay while we were in town. Thanks, guys!
