Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff

The lobby has a distinctive pioneer Western look, and the hotel was clean. We were traveling from Cali to Texas and stopped here to rest before continuing. Tya was very nice and found us a good price, then recommended Fat Olives, which was amazing and delicious. When we were getting ready to leave early, we asked about coffee shops open that early. Tom said Dutch Bros was open, but he’d just put some coffee out himself. That saved us a few bucks, thanks.

Our son loved the creek trail behind the hotel and wanted to walk it every morning. The staff were kind and accommodating throughout, and the place felt very family friendly. Breakfast was really good too, a nice way to start the day. We had such a great stay and can’t wait to come back!

The hot tub surface was so rough it cut both me and my bathing suit, so it really needs resurfacing. Breakfast was awful too. The eggs were inedible, with hard bits, and the sausage was greasy and gross. As someone who’s gluten-free, I couldn’t eat the bagels or waffles, which was disappointing. Even so, it was a great experience overall. The service was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and decent.

Our travel was delayed, and we arrived late. Tom was great, offering the kids and me tea and hot chocolate while he looked up our booking. Check-in was easy, and he put us on the quiet side, away from the highways. Breakfast was simple, but the kids liked the waffles and toppings. Thanks to Tom and Wendy for making a rough travel day better.
