Rodeway Inn Flagstaff East Route 66

Housekeeping did an amazing job every time, and the service was lovely. I don’t usually stay in hotels, but this one was really convenient and nice. I loved the showerhead, the lighting, and how comfortable the mattress was. The cups for hot water or coffee leaked and spilled with every sip. Better cups and lids would help, or a coffee maker in every room would be nice. Still, I had a great stay. Thank you for the excellent service!

We stayed there almost a month ago and had already paid for the room. Now there’s a charge in our bank account for another night. The person who answered the hotel phone was no help. He said he’d deal with it later, but wouldn’t take my name or information. After several calls and very little assistance, I’ll have to dispute the charge through the bank. It feels like a scam. Don’t stay here.

We arrived late while taking our daughter to college and had no reservation. This was the last room in town. Every surface seemed stained: the carpet, bedspread, sheets, towels, desk, and headboard. It was the filthiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. I don’t understand how the owners accept these conditions. People considering a stay should know the property simply isn’t being cared for.

There was more room than I expected, including a nicely sized fridge with a freezer. The place is clearly old, even after renovation, but it was still decorated nicely. Check-in was quick and the room was clean. The shower handle was broken, though they’d left it accessible so I could still use the shower. I’ll definitely stay again.
