We tried two rooms and the second one was even worse, so we ended up checking out. There was blood, black mold, and bugs on the beds and sheets. This hotel needs a really thorough cleaning.

The room itself was nice, but housekeeping was awful. The floors were dirty, there were poop spots in the toilet, and trash had been left in the can under the sink. The smoke detector was disconnected, too. The faucet needed to be...

If you're on a budget, this can be a more comfortable place than most hotels at this price, and the room was nice. The sink was the only unclean part of it. The hallways and lobby, though, were in terrible shape. At check-in, the front desk lady didn't feel very welcoming and was having an unprofessional conversation with the male worker instead of paying attention to me.

I stayed from 6/30/24 to 7/15/24, paying for a 32-day reservation, and ended up being charged for the remaining 15 days after I left. I had legitimate complaints about both rooms, but the handling of them was as frustrating as the conditions. When I asked about the hassle-free policy posted on the counter, the clerk rudely said I should have spoken up if it was such a problem because a room was available. I had spoken up. A staff member came to room 421 and fixed the TV, and at that point I was told there were no other rooms. Another staff member even called me the next day while I was at work to ask about the TV, without mentioning any open rooms. A front desk employee passed my complaints to the “manager” Ahmad Bhkar, who called me on 7/7/24. He didn't ask about either room's condition or apologize. I had already told staff I wanted to check out because of the experience. When I asked Ahmad what it would cost to leave on 7/8/24, he said he'd have to remove my discount and that could take ten minutes. I said I could wait on the call, but he said he'd call back and never did. Customer relations apologized and said someone would contact me within 48 hours, but nobody did. I called three times and kept getting the same promise that someone would get back to me. With nothing resolved, I checked out on 7/15/24. Charging me for days I wasn't there felt insulting and morally wrong. Please don't stay at this location. The customer service is horrible. Two staff members were extremely kind and understanding, though I can't name them because nobody wore name tags. Thank you to those two for being decent people. Also, they only serve coffee, not breakfast. The problems started with my reservation on 6/30/24. Because of holiday availability, I had to spend two nights on the Redroof side and the rest on the hometown studio side. In room 421, the phone didn't work, the TV didn't work, and a lampshade was crushed. The bathroom vent was extremely loud and sounded like it might need replacing. The TV was eventually fixed, but those were the only issues resolved in that room. In room 325, the bedding smelled of urine. I stripped it off and found a urine-stained mattress pad. I complained and was given clean bedding, but housekeeping just brought it up and left me to make the bed myself. Housekeeping was difficult to deal with. Around noon, I asked a housekeeper on the third floor for towels. She said I had to get them at the front desk because she needed to finish her rooms by 3pm. Another time, I asked the man behind the counter for towels and he immediately said they probably didn't have any clean ones, though he eventually gave me two of their largest towels. The elevator also went out two or three times during my stay.

The room looked nice and the staff were nice, too. No complaints. I came from out of the area and they let me check in early without any trouble. I'll be back.
