The staff we spoke with were friendly, and they refunded the room in full. The place was the only hotel with rooms open, but it cost too much for the quality and the website photos don’t look like the real place. At first it was extremely dirty; after she cleaned, it was better, though anything I ran my hand across came away black with a greasy substance. After we went for a walk and came back, there were cockroaches. The blankets were dirty and each bed had just one pillow, so we used our own pillows and blankets. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed in hotels across a lot of states for work, and this was the worst one I’ve ever booked. I left after about ten minutes and found another hotel. The room had no sheets on the beds, no soap or shampoo, only two filthy towels, and the wall air conditioner was broken. The floor was so dirty I couldn’t take my shoes off. I returned the key card to the woman in the lobby and told her, “This is NOT a hotel!” I also felt very unsafe because of the people staying there, whom I described as gangsters and drug dealers.

We saw enough and went straight to ask for our money back. The sign says you can get a full refund within ten minutes of checking in. Our door was open when we got to the room, which hadn’t been cleaned. There was trash everywhere, dirty mattresses with diaper boxes on them, and no blankets or pillows on the bed. I’ve never felt so unsafe in a hotel. It was incredibly dirty and disgusting, and I think it should be shut down. Thank God we found a room at the Best Western that night. Do not stay here.

The bed was worn out and should have been replaced years ago. We were exhausted and stayed anyway, sleeping on top of the blankets because we hadn’t pulled them back. I didn’t see bed bugs, but bugs were crawling on the floor as soon as we entered a room that only appeared clean. The outside walkways were filthy. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed, so water flooded the floor. We had no shower mat, and I used the two tiny towels we had to mop up. When I went down for more, they said they had no extras, so my husband had no towel for his shower. There was also a dirty washcloth hanging on the curtain rod; I guess the previous guest had tried using it to hold the curtain shut, as I did, but it didn’t work. We wish we’d paid more for somewhere better.
