Relax Inn

The pool was shut down, and half the motel was under construction. My daughter left very sick after our stay, and I would never go back. There were no Uber or Lyft services in the area, and the owner charged us $40 for a ride that was five minutes away. The room was full of dust and had cockroaches and spiders; even the sheets had cockroach bites. The treatment was awful. She yelled at us when she didn't get what she wanted and gave us dirty looks. I had to put the chain on the door because the owner kept trying to open it when we wouldn't let her in.

My wife and I were exhausted, and it was so late that we didn't leave. I asked the person at the counter if the rooms were nice, and she said we'd be pleased. The sheets and towels were stained. The sink was propped up with a 2x4, with a huge gap they had tried to fill with caulk, and the toilet was loose. I paid almost $100 for the night. If it had been cheap, at least you'd get what you pay for, but I do NOT recommend staying here.

My wife and I were on a motorcycle trip when we got caught in the rain, so we stopped here and paid for a room. It was only two doors from the office, but as soon as we opened it, the room reeked. We turned right around, got our money back, and left. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

The owners were attentive and helpful, and the location is convenient. There's a big grassy courtyard for pets, too. My room was very clean, though dated, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The bed, pillows, and linens were much better than I'd expect at this price. This quaint motel offers a lot for an affordable rate. I'll definitely be back.
