Turn of the River 2G 3 Bedroom Holiday Home By My Ocean Rentals

Every condo has a river view, with sunrises visible from the front door and sunsets from the screened porch. Turn of River is a four story, 32 unit building on the edge of the Folly River. Most units have three bedrooms and three baths, and are owner occupied or rented long term, though a few short term rentals are available. A short bridge walk gets you to Folly Beach, with its beach, pier, restaurants, bars, and shops. Downtown Charleston is a short drive away, so you get the best of both worlds. Five clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

We’re very pleased with our vacation condo, 2c, at Folly Beach. It’s decorated in a bright, beautiful style, and the four story building has amazing views of the Folly River, with paddle boarders, dolphins, and sailboats sitting at anchor in the tides.

The week was miserable. The place was dirty, and I even bought bleach to scrub the moldy bathrooms. There was black mold on the outside of the AC, food crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and coffee spilled across most of the screened porch floor. The old furniture was outdated, the kitchen supplies looked like they came from mismatched junk stores, and the living room curtains were gone with the rod brackets still there. The carts for taking luggage between the parking lot and the unit were rusty old shopping carts.
