A OK Motel

The rooms have been remodeled nicely, and the people here are great to deal with. A lot of the bad reviews seem to be from before the ownership or management changed, and I wouldn’t agree with them now. Good service, too. I’d recommend stopping here if you’re passing through or need a weekly place while in town for work or pleasure. 10/10.

I tried to rent a room, but the manager kept insisting my mom would be staying there, even after I explained she was just in the car with me while I visited her. I asked for a refund. Trust has to go both ways. Don’t stay here. They don’t respect people or their rights, and treating customers like they’re not human won’t keep this place in business.

My family member had to spend the night with a relative after he couldn’t get back into his room. He’d checked in, unpacked, then gone out for food and to see family and friends. Later that night, his key kept flashing red, and a few tries still wouldn’t open the door. There was no one at the front office and no emergency number he could find. The next morning he explained it to the owner, who said they couldn’t do anything and wouldn’t give a refund or free night. If you stay at this inexpensive little motel, ask how to reach someone after hours.

The bed felt like a board, so bring your own pillow or something comfortable. For $62 after taxes, the room was partly remodeled and had a new fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi, and DirecTV on a nice flat screen. Checkout is at 11:00 am.
