Baymont by Wyndham Forest City

I was here for a work trip for a few days, and I’m never coming back. The first issue was that nobody was at the front desk overnight. You have to deal with someone on a computer screen until 7 a.m., and they couldn’t help me. The room also wasn’t cleaned daily or given fresh sheets. I had to clean it myself when I arrived, and then found out there were bed bugs. 😩😩😩

Our room was easy to load and unload from since all the entrances are outside, so we could pull right up to the door. The recently remodeled room had wood-look ceramic tile instead of carpet, and the pool was clean. It was quiet up on the hill, with no traffic noise reaching us from below. We also accidentally left a checkbook behind, and the staff called right away so we could come back for it. Very honest people.

Right in the middle of Rutherford County, this was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. If all you need is a bed and a room without paying a ridiculous amount, I’d recommend staying here when visiting the area.

I woke up with a bunch of bug bites, and the room had a strong cleaner smell. The toilet clogged easily, too. The workout room was a mess, with trash around and parts missing from the equipment. Breakfast was pretty bare for a continental spread, just a couple of muffins, Fruit Loops, and milk that tasted expired. I won’t stay again.
