I was in town for work and stayed five nights. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and getting on or off the freeway was easy. The room was roomy, with a comfortable bed, and breakfast had the usual Hampton Inn selection, which I found very good. Everything was clean from the lobby to the room, and the front desk, housekeeping, and kitchen staff were polite and professional. I’d stay here again.

The rooms have been recently renovated, and there are lots of fast food places within walking distance. Everyone I met in housekeeping and at breakfast was really nice, too. The woman at the front desk on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning shifts was the standout. I didn’t get her name, but she had great energy and gave me the best service I’ve had at any Hilton property this year.

We had booked one night, but bad weather kept us from getting to the hotel. When I called to cancel, they refused to give us either a refund or credit. We travel often for our daughters' sports and have never had this happen before. Other places we’ve booked have been willing to work with us when bad weather got in the way. The manager was rude and unapologetic, wouldn’t hear us out, and refused to help in any way. It took a week to get a call back, and I had to call several times before I could speak with anyone. He didn’t seem happy with his job, either.

Miss Tara at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is easy to reach right off I-20, and my room was clean, though dated. The TV remote was so worn that it rarely worked. I was exhausted, so I turned the TV off and went to bed without mentioning it.

For a less expensive Hampton Inn, this place is still accommodating. The rooms were clean, breakfast was plentiful, and there was good coffee available all day. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby.
