The fridge made such a loud, screechy noise I wanted to toss it out the window, and the walls let me hear the next room's TV and people walking overhead at 1, 2, and 4 a.m. I know the hotel can't control every guest, but sleeping was awful. I left at 6 a.m. because weed smoke came through the door and woke me up. I like sleeping in, so that was unusual for me. The room looked clean at first, but the floor was still dirty and there was hair in the tub. The whole place smelled of pot, which I know may be down to other guests. For almost $300 for two nights, it wasn't worth it. I've stayed at lots of hotels and travel a lot, and this place felt like it should charge around $60 a night. It put me off staying at a Quality Inn again.

The people at the front desk were really nice, and the place was cleaner and nicer than I'd expect for the price. They do have an indoor pool, though I didn't get a chance to swim. Breakfast service ended early, so get there early if you want it.

I only spent one night in town during a two-day trip, and expected at least a clean bathroom, even though this wasn't the Ritz Carlton. When I told the front desk agent about its condition, he said I should've mentioned it at check-in. Someone came to clean, but spent about 15 seconds wiping one spot and didn't understand what I was saying. The mold was awful and hit my nasal passages hard. A 3.4 rating is too generous.

The fire alarm sounded at midnight, and the staff on duty didn't know what to do. Everyone had to evacuate until the fire department came and shut it off. When we asked staff for directions, they just stared blankly. There were ants all through the room, and the whole property smelled of weed and cigarettes, including inside the rooms. Part of the place has been remodeled, but the work seems cheaply done and is already falling apart. The room wasn't worth the price, especially with several other hotels nearby.

I booked locally at the last minute so my grandkids could use the pool, and it was amazing. The check-in was welcoming, and the surroundings felt clean and safe. The hotel's reviews don't seem to match the experience we had at the Quality Inn 275.
