I was visiting my mother-in-law with my wife and her kids at Christmas when we were threatened with the police being called just for stopping by for a little while. We packed up and left because we didn't want a scene. The room had plenty wrong with it too: the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way and had a hole in it, the bed frame was coming off, and all four corners of the building were tilted and bulging, some worse than others. I wouldn't recommend this motel for families. It feels hazardous and like a liability.

The walls are paper thin, and the lamps are rusted. There were hairs on the toilet and in the shower, blood on the sheets, and pillows that looked like someone had peed on them. If you've got no standards, this might be the place for you.

The online photos give you false hope. For $67 a night, including tax, I found hair on the floor, holes in the wall, fingerprints on the glass, stained towels, and cigarette burns in the blanket. I'd give it zero stars if I could. This place needs a full gut and remodel.

The room smelled bad. After renting it by the hour, I watched the owner sweep a condom and its wrapper away from the door, and then not change the sheets or properly clean anything. Pretty nasty.

I stay here nearly every week and have consistently had a good experience. Check-in and the rest of the stay go smoothly because the staff are helpful and friendly. The location is handy too, just off I-20 and close to Walmart, gas stations, and plenty of restaurants. It's not a luxury place, but for the price the comfort, cleanliness, and service have been what I expected, so the value is good. I'd recommend it for convenient, budget-friendly lodging.
